Furniture Design and Product
Development
While I have a complete wood working shop at my disposal, I also have access to the best minds and most talented hands in the industry. Together we can Dream, Design and Build the most perfectly inspired and custom crafted piece of furniture just for you.
Best of all we are not limited to upholstery, no sir!
We also can assist you in getting your product developed and patterns made for production.

Upholstery Classes
Beginner Upholstery Classes - $ 295.00
15 hours - meets 3 hours per session one day a week, for 5 weeks.
Students learn a variety of information from safety procedures, the history of furniture, textiles, springs and foundations, foam ratings, upholstery sewing and proper upholstery techniques.
Students will complete a small scale project such as a footstool or dining chair to begin building their skills and confidence.
Class size limited to 3 students on Friday and 3 students on Saturday. Classes fill up fast, reserve your spot today.
Intermediate Upholstery Class - $530
20 hours - meets four hours per session one day per week, for 5 weeks.
Building on their skill set learned in the beginners class, they do a basic upholstered chair.
Students learn spring tying, frame padding and build up, fabric layout, matching patterns, cutting and sewing cushions, sewing single and double welt, trim out and making buttons.
Prerequisite: Beginners Class
Advanced Upholstery- $980.00
32 hours - 4 hours per session one day per week, for 8 weeks.
Student will learn the art of tufting, creating a channel back chair, tufted headboard, attached back, waterfall pillow back, doing a fully upholstered chair (standard wing chair, or chair with a skirt) etc. Learn the craft of boat or automobile seat upholstery. Prerequisite: Completion of 1 beginner class and 3 intermediate classes.
